Hi, my name is Sue Rogers. I am married to Glen Rogers. I have 2 children, daughter Krista Jacobson and son, PO1 Alex Jacobson. We recently added 2 kittens, Sally & Lucy, to our home. We live in Rochester where I've worked as a secretary at Mayo Foundation for 14 years.

Alex first saw the squadron recruiting at the State Fair in 1999. Three years later, in June of 2002, he finally joined. He has dreamt of a military career since the 3rd grade and his experiences as a Sea Cadet have been invaluable. His highlights have included back-to-back TWTs in Pensacola, Florida, participating at the regional Flagship Competition and being in the color guard. He probably wouldn't consider his boot camp experience a "highlight"!

I'm the secretary of my son's Boy Scout troop and will be finishing soon when he receives his Eagle Scout rank. I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House. My passion is travel! I love Broadway musicals and would like to make New York City an annual destination. In my spare time I enjoy reading, tinkering on the computer, craft projects, and scrap booking.

I am honored to be elected to the role of the TCSPA secretary and look forward to serving in this position of responsibility. I am a lifetime member of the TCSPA and encourage all parents to join. It's a great way to show support to your cadet and to "give a little back" to the all-volunteer staff of the squadron. Feel free to e-mail me with any suggestions, questions or concerns.
